If you’re looking to start a fire, here’s your match. Michael Anthony is an award-winning Christian speaker hailed as a “modern-day Jonathan Edwards” for speaking truth to the culture and exhorting the church with equal measures of courage and clarity. He and his wife, Janet, founded Godfactor in 2004. His first book, to be published by Thomas Nelson, is slated for release in March of 2018. If you are looking for a speaker who will inspire, challenge and motivate your audience, Michael Anthony is an excellent choice.
His Godfactor radio show, aired weekdays on Edgewater Broadcasting, merges insights into living a Christ-centered – and surrendered – life with inspiring examinations of the most critical social issues facing believers today. Edgewater General Manager Bob Adams calls Anthony “someone whose voice really needs to be heard at this time in history.”
Michael is also the founder of The National Week of Repentance (RevivalMatters.com), a week-long event to get at the real root of the challenges facing the country. His voice is being heard with increasing frequency in the national media. He has appeared on CNN Newsroom to discuss a story he broke on his Godfactor.com blog that went viral, covered by, among many others, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Meet the Press and CBS News. Anthony has also written for and been interviewed on a wide range of topics by such news outlets as Townhall.com, American Family Radio, Beliefnet, WorldNetDaily and Patheos.com.
Anthony, who is also Lead Pastor of Grace Fellowship in York, Pa., received his B.A. in English from Rutgers University, and is a graduate of Moody Graduate School in Chicago (ASP), and Multnomah Biblical Seminary in Portland, Oregon (M.Div.).
He has preached the Gospel on four continents, visited more than 20 countries, and is an avid revival historian. He is passionate about “exponential replication” – helping people multiply their efforts by teaching others to excel at loving God, surrendering to Him like never before, and leading.
He also has an inspiring comeback story, having survived two (possibly three) kidnapping attempts as a child and several brushes with death, including a battle with cancer in 2009.
